Children & Youth Sunday School at 10:00am

Two year-olds
Sunday school begins at the age of two years. Our teachers understand preschoolers are natural-born explorers. They feel, smell and touch as they learn. Hands-on Bible curriculum encourages two’s to enjoy the world God has made.

Three, four and five year-olds not in Kindergarten
These preschoolers learn and understand the Bible is a special book telling us stories of God’s actions and people.

Kindergarten, first and second grades
Younger elementary children enjoy separate teaching areas and age level groups as they learn age-appropriate Bible stories from the Old and New Testaments with activities, games and crafts so all experience God’s word in the way they are most comfortable.

Third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades
Older elementary children rotate among the drama, art, activates or media learning centers. Each grade level experiences a different center focused on the same unit theme enabling students to encounter learning in a variety of ways.

Seventh and eight grades
Our early teens experience how God’s word can help them make right choices in their lives as they study

Confirmation Class
Traditionally held during the 8th grade year, older youth are also invited to participate. The nine-month study focuses on elements of the Christian faith, the heritage of United Methodism and what it means to follow the way of Jesus Christ. The year also includes several Saturday field trips. A personal Bible, books and materials are provided. For further information, Please see detailed information Contact Lisa Notter by email or phone 630-690-8950.

Senior High
Senior High’s encounter God’s Word through meaningful thought and discussion using a variety of resources such as “Questions Senior Highs Ask”. Here youth experience a supportive community in which to grapple with questions and ultimately to find life-giving and faithful answers.
