Opened
in 1969, Gary United Methodist Preschool is a licensed,
non-denominational school for 3, 4 and 5 year olds.
Children two
years before kindergarten meet Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 – 11:30AM or
12:45 – 3:15PM with a maximum of 18 children a class. Children one year
before kindergarten meet Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9 – 11:30AM
and from 12:45 – 3:15PM, with a maximum of 20 children in each
class. There are two teachers with each class. |

A New Offering
Gary United Methodist Preschool offers a
Parents Morning Out program Tuesday through Friday. PMO serves children 18
months to3 years old. Class size is limited to ten with two teachers in the
room. PMO is loosely structured to accommodate age differences. Each session
includes free play, story time, snack, theme related activities and large
