These kids join athletes around the world who participate in a fall sport called cross country. This specific event was the 2007 DuPage Valley Conference Championship which had four levels, frosh/soph boys and girls, varsity boys and girls. Chase Kadlec competes on the varsity and the others from Gary at the frosh/soph level.

As Chase and his Wheaton North team continue to have success,
they will compete at the Illinois regional, sectional and state championships.
 

Kadlec finishing first in the three mile course in just over 15 minutes.
