In its history, visual arts were of utmost importance in the spiritual education and development of early Christians art and attempted to illustrate and convey emerging epiphanies of Christianity in tangible form, Art played a pivotal role in communicating theological interpretations to inspire music, spiritual development and acts of compassion.

Gary’s Cultivating the Spiritual Life group, in its mission to promote experiential avenues for spiritual development, is proud to announce the opening of the Burning Bush Art Gallery.Through the gallery, we hope to connect to our spiritual heritage in a new and creative way, where artists will serve as facilitators who lead the viewer to  places of introspection and contemplation. The objectives of the Burning Bush Art Gallery are to enhance our language for theological understanding, provide a means for meditation, spiritual growth, inspiration and ultimately, to prompt action. This Gallery is also intended to reach out beyond our doors and be a public asset to the region for spiritual reflection and discussion.

Gary Church thanks Bill Austin for taking the lead in this project.
