Inspiration: Less than two miles from the Church of the Nativity (generally considered the place of Christ's birth) there is this 25' reinforced wall to separate the Israelis from the Palestinians. With plans for a similar wall between Texas and Mexico, we foster this sense that walls bring peace and security. But all they do is put violence in check. The radical message of the gospel message stands over and against our false notions of peace. |
